You can listen to lyrics in a song on your ipod (phonological loop) and be able to cycle to your destination knowing exacly where you are going (visuo sketchpad)

You can write something down as it is being dictated to you and you can talk to the person next to you.

We could de driving a car to a specific destination (Visuo-spatial scratch pad) and listening to the radio in the car (phonological loop)

At the same time you can watch something on television by using your visuospatial sketchpad and have a conversation with somebody by using your phonological loop.
